Painted with highly pigmented artist grade acrylics. Vibrant, original paintings by New Zealand artist, Xanthe Wyse. Each painting is lovingly painted, with many interacting layers, a different palette for each painting.
There is only one original of each painting. Originals on stretched canvas are only available to customers within New Zealand. Prices are in New Zealand dollars plus add $15 towards packaging and courier costs. Customer may collect from Taupo, if they prefer. A metaphorical self-portrait, of a bird radiating light, lifted by music, flying towards challenging goals. The raw, processing of this piece still shows. Shipping and payment
Originals on flat canvas boards may be shipped internationally. Originals on stretched canvas will not be shipped overseas (because of higher risk of loss/damage).
Colours are generally more vibrant than the digital images show, depending on the lighting. Sides of canvases are painted to look presentable without a frame. Floating frames are recommended for a contemporary look (frames not supplied).

Fine art prints are also available for a lower price than originals (A4 sizes and smaller prints are also available internationally).

If you would like your own custom painting for a reasonable price, see commissions. Xanthe especially enjoys painting pets, birds and nature (including sunsets, landscapes, water etc).
