About the Artist

Xanthe Wyse is a New Zealand artist, with a rusty degree in analytical chemistry. She has had a lifelong interest in the art and science of colour.

Her early memories include painting at an easel at kindergarten. She won an art competition at age 10, judged by a local professional artist.

​Xanthe has had two solo art as therapy exhibitions in her local community, which were well received. She also takes part in occasional group exhibitions.

Her art studio is her rented bedroom. She specialises in painting with acrylics, usually on canvas.

She has been described as being a colourful person.
